SALIGAO: Saligao police conducted a raid and seized charas valued at Rs 2.8 lakh.
According to police, they conducted a raid after receiving a tip that someone would be coming to deliver drugs to a potential customer near the Field Side restaurant in Dhonwaddo, Saligao.
Dinesh Kumar, 30, was arrested after they were discovered in unlawful possession of 280 grams of a substance suspected of being charas, valued at Rs 2.8 lakh.
Kumar was a Mandi, Himachal Pradesh resident and is currently in police prison after being detained and charged under Section 20(b) l(ii)(B) of the NDPS Act 1985.
