PANAJI: Pramod Sawant met and interacted with councillors of the Thiruvananthapuram Municipal Corporation during a recent engagement, congratulating them on their electoral performance and encouraging stronger municipal governance.
The Chief Minister lauded the councillors for what he described as a historic achievement in Kerala and appreciated the faith reposed in the BJP by the electorate to serve in urban local bodies across the state. He said the mandate reflects the growing acceptance of the Centre’s vision of inclusive development, highlighting the message of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” and “Antyodaya” reaching people at the grassroots level.
During the interaction, Sawant shared key initiatives undertaken by the Government of Goa in the field of municipal administration. He spoke about Goa’s waste management systems, urban development projects and efforts aimed at strengthening civic infrastructure and improving citizen-centric services.
The meeting also served as a platform to exchange ideas on enhancing urban governance, sustainable development and responsive administration in municipal areas.
Sawant conveyed his best wishes to the councillors for a successful and impactful tenure dedicated to the welfare of the residents of Thiruvananthapuram.
