PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant chaired a high-level meeting with officials from the Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI) at the Mantralaya to deliberate on key developmental initiatives in Goa’s real estate and construction sectors.
The discussions focused on four main areas: promoting reforestation through CREDAI-led green initiatives, launching skilling and certification programs in collaboration with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), effective utilization of welfare funds for construction workers, and strengthening efforts toward affordable housing—aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Housing for All.”
CM Sawant lauded CREDAI for its proactive role in workforce upskilling and environmental sustainability. “I congratulate CREDAI for its commendable efforts in afforestation and skill development. The Government of Goa extends its full support to these forward-looking initiatives,” he said.
The Chief Minister emphasized that partnerships like these are vital to ensuring sustainable development and social welfare across the state.
