PANAJI: A complaint has been filed with Vigilance Directorate and SP Anti Corruption Bureau against Gram Sevak of Sancoale Panchayat Orville Vales for impersonating Panchayat Secretary and illegally signing and issuing construction licences including the one issued to Bhutani Project, also requested to investigate Director of Panchayat Siddhi Halarnkar for allowing such blatant illegalities in her department.
“I request a thorough investigation and initiate necessary action against Gram Sevak Orville Vales including booking him under relevant sections of BNS for impersonating a Government Official and also under Prevention of Corruption Act, to prevent further abuses of power and illegalities in Sancoale Panchayat as Mr. Orville has been a habitual offender,” said Cong Leader Sunil Kawthankar
He said that such illegal licences issued by the Gram Sevak Orville Vales posing as Panchayat Secretary as the same are bad under the law and hence should be considered null and void ab initio.
“The assets and bank deposits and lockers of Mr. Orville Vales, along with that of his partner if any and the dependents may be verified to be proportionate to his known source of income, as his role in illegally is signing and issuing the above mentioned construction license against all the genuine objections raised by elected Panchayat members smells of a deep routed conspiracy and corruption which needs through investigation.
