CURCHOREM: Goa Pradesh Congress Committee President Shri Amit Patkar today paid floral tribute to Bharat Ratna Dr. B. R. Ambedkar at Curchorem on the occasion of his birth anniversary.
Speaking at the event, Amit Patkar said, “Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar gave us the Constitution of India — a sacred document that ensures justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity to every citizen. Today, as we witness systematic attempts by the BJP to undermine and dismantle this very Constitution, it is our bounden duty to rise and defend it.”
He further stated that Babasaheb’s mission of social justice and empowerment remains incomplete and that the Congress Party will continue to lead the fight against any force that seeks to destroy the democratic fabric of the nation.
“Babasaheb Ambedkar’s vision was of an inclusive India where every voice matters, where no one is discriminated against based on caste, creed, or class. We pledge to carry forward that vision with even greater determination,” Shri Patkar added.
The Goa Pradesh Congress Committee calls upon all Goans, especially the youth, to stand united in defence of the Constitution and uphold the values enshrined by Dr. Ambedkar.
