PANAJI: In the early hours of Tuesday morning, a couple jumped from the Mandovi bridge in Panaji was rescued by the local fishermen.
According to eye witnesses, the girl jumped first from the bridge and later to save her the boy accompanying her jumped off the bridge to save her.
On noticing the same, fisherman who were there on a small canoe rushed to the site and rescued the due.
Soon after rescuing, the police officials reached the site and the couple was shifted to Goa Medical College (GMC).
The reason is yet to be known.
