PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that restructuring of the School Curriculum will be initiated soon after receiving National Curriculum Framework from NCERT, which is in the progress
“Restructuring of School Curriculum will be initiated soon after receiving National Curriculum Framework from NCERT, which is in progress,” said CM Sawant.
He further said that as now the government are switching over to the 5+3+3+4 pattern as recommended in NEP 2020, the excess teachers will be suitably re-allocated.
“As per NEP 2020, teachers should undergo continuous Professional Development Programme every year for updating their skill, knowledge etc.,” he said.
Sawant informed that 2970 Elementary Teachers trained through National Initiative for School Heads’ and Teachers’ Holistic Advancement (NISHTHA)
“5180 Secondary & Higher Secondary teachers have been trained through NISHTHA 2.0. and 4583 Pre-Primary & Primary teachers have been trained NISHTHA 3.0.,” he said.
Further, in 2022-23 the category of which teachers will be trained in 2026 Elementary Stage and 4906 Secondary and Higher Secondary Stage.
