MOPA: A Czech national has been charged by the Mopa Airport Police with attempting to use a prohibited satellite GPS equipment while traveling at Manohar International Airport in Mopa.
Police say the accused, Martin Polesny, 54, of the Czech Republic, was on his way to Doha from Manohar International Airport when they found a GPS GARMIN device—EDGE 540—in his luggage.
The accused was unable to provide any license or authorization from the appropriate government when questioned.
PSI Viraj Sawant is looking into the issue after the Mopa Airport Police filed a formal complaint against the defendant.
