PANAJI: Teachers who are discovered to be involved in any irregularities or who receive complaints from the education department face severe consequences, as Chief Minister Pramod Sawant issued a warning against them on Thursday.
“We often hear about various issues and complaints from aided schools; may it be with regard to teachers or other staff; We’ve already begun acting in response to them,” said Sawant
“Even though the institutions are aided, school managements and teachers have to keep in mind that the entire aid is given by the government only,” he stated, drawing attention to the fact that many people believe the state government has no control over the assisted schools.
He also warned of action against the school managements if they are hesitant to make payments.
According to Education Secretary Prasad Lolayekar, educators must demonstrate their relevance and adjust to the changing landscape of digital learning.
A classroom cannot be made smart without any technology or equipment. If a classroom is to be made smart, then a clever instructor is required. Lolayekar noted that “only a smart teacher can make his classroom smart.”
“People are worried about the future of teachers now that the national education policy is being implemented and there is a move to digital learning. We will always have teachers in our lives. They must embrace this new development and demonstrate their importance,” he remarked.
