PANAJI: The Department of Information Technology, Electronics & Communications (DITE&C), Government of Goa, has appointed Third Party Audit (TPA) agencies to independently audit IT and ICT infrastructure projects across the state. This strategic initiative aims to enhance transparency, improve project quality, and ensure effective implementation of technology initiatives undertaken by various government departments.
The empanelled agencies will serve as independent reviewers, assessing compliance with established standards, verifying project performance, and ensuring that objectives are met efficiently. Their role is critical in promoting accountability and strengthening Goa’s IT ecosystem.
This move aligns with the government’s broader vision to foster the efficient use of digital tools for public service delivery, emphasizing transparency and high service standards. All government departments, corporations, and autonomous bodies have been informed and encouraged to engage these TPAs for relevant projects.
With this step, the Government of Goa reinforces its commitment to advancing digital governance through robust implementation and oversight, ultimately aiming to improve the quality and efficiency of public services throughout the state.
