PANAJI: Goa Pradesh Mahila Congress President Beena Shantaram Naik has charged that the BJP Government administration has completely collpased with absolutely zero coordination between various departments. Differences in Government of ‘The Party with a Difference’ have once again come to the fore with conflicting orders issued by both District Collectors and Education Department pertaining to opening of Educational Institutions in Goa.
“The orders issued by Director of Education on 4th June 2021 have instructed the administrative staff and non-teaching staff of all the aided and un-aided institutions under its ambit to start functioning for full working hours from 7th June 2021. Similar order issued by Director of Higher Education on 4th June 2021 has instructed College and University Office Staff and Teaching Staff from Goa University to attend their duties from 7th June 2021 while teaching staff from the Colleges to attend their respective institutions from 8th June 2021,” said Beena Naik.
She said that surprisingly, the Orders issued by South and North Goa Collectors on 6th June 2021 have clearly mentioned that the Schools, Colleges, Educational and Coaching Institutions except for examinations of College Students shall remain closed.
“We want to question the Chief Minister about which orders he expects the educational institution staff to follow? Should they go by Collectors orders issued today and stay at home?“ questioned Beena Naik.
She says that these conflicting and contradictory orders are reflection of failure of the Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant who holds Home and Education portfolios. BJP Government calls itself a Party with a Differences, unfortunately their Government is now busy settling differences between the Chief Minister, Ministers and Party Functionaries.
“We demand that Chief Minister must immediately clarify on the above two orders and issue fresh clarifications. We want to caution the government to take decisions after consultative process and avoid confusions in the minds of the people,” she said.
