BARCEM: Kushavati District Collector Ms Egna Cleetus, IAS, chaired a meeting of the District Level Committee (DLC) to review claims submitted under the Forest Rights Act, 2006 from Quepem taluka.
During the meeting, the committee examined a total of 61 forest rights claims received from Barcem village in Quepem taluka for consideration and decision.
The claims were discussed in detail and the committee issued necessary directions for further action in accordance with the provisions of the Forest Rights Act.
The meeting was held as part of the ongoing process of scrutiny and disposal of claims submitted through the Sub-Divisional Level Committee of Quepem taluka.
