PANAJI: Power Minister Shri Ramkrishna Dhavalikar said that the dream of the 37th National Games has become a reality due to the sportspersons who are participating in the event.
He was speaking at the inauguration of the Archery discipline at Goa Engineering College ground, Farmagudi on Monday. “It is my vision to have good sport facilities in and around Goa, through this event. I am also a sportsman, and I have played cricket for nearly 13 years. Over 10,000 athletes, officers, and sports association members have come to Goa. The dream of organising the Games has become a reality thanks to these sportspersons,” he said.
He also urged all the athletes to enjoy the beauty of Goa. “I congratulate all the players and association members, particularly from other states. I urge all of them to visit Goa and enjoy the beauty of the state,” he added.
