Anjuna police on Saturday arrested one UP native and seized narcotics worth Rs 6 lakhs.
Bharat s/o Satish Kumar Dev, age 32 yrs, r/o At Present Monteiro Vaddo, Anjuna, Goa, n/o HNo 146, Near Gaushala Road, Prem Nagar, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh was found in possession 06 Kgs of narcotic drugs suspected to be Ganja W/Rs 6,00,000/- approximately, illegally which was concealed in a Grey colour Fascino scooter no. GA-03-AJ-7720.
The said illegal suspected Narcotic drugs along with other exhibits have been seized under the panchanama, after following all mandatory provisions of NDPS Act.
Anjuna Police Station staff consisting of PSI Vidyesh Pilgaonkar, HC BNo.6269 Shyamsundar Parsekar, PC 6473 Mahendra Mandrekar and PC 7319 Siddhesh Naik and PC-5793 Pandurang Naik of Anjuna Police Station, upon prior information, conducted narcotic raid on 29/08/2020 between 5.50 pm to 8.10 pm at T’road junction, near Evergreen Bar & restaurant, Monteiro Vaddo, Anjuna, Bardez.
Upon the State complaint of HC BNo.6269, Shri. Shyamsundar Parsekar of Anjuna PS, an offence is registered U/s 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act. Accused person is placed under arrest in the above crime.
Further investigation of the case is in progress with PSI Sujay S. Korgaonkar under the Supervision of PI Anjuna PS Shri. Suraj H.Gawas, SDPO Mapusa Gajanand Prabhudesai and SP(N) Porvorim, Goa.
