PONDA: In a shocking development, now eight policemen attached to Ponda Police station have been found positive for Covid19 infection on Tuesday.
As per the intel from the reliable sources, around eight policemen of Ponda Police Station were reportedly found positive for Covid 19. The main cause behind this infection is although unknown but it was learnt that these policemen were deputed on duty at various locations during the New Year. Some of these policemen were deputed at the election campaign rallies of various Political party candidates.
Further, the Covid19 testing of these policemen was conducted on Monday and reports of some policemen came positive. The cops have to attend to their duties and with the elections round the corner police are deputed at public meetings,election rallies etc to maintain the Law and Order.
