SOCORRO: An electric pole was uprooted at Vaddem-Soccoro due to heavy rains and gusty winds.
As per information, the pole is uprooted at Vaddem Socorro, Porvorim on the internal road connecting Porvorim to Mapusa, Aldona, Bicholim via Ucassaim -Bastora.
“Vehicular traffic on this route affected and diverted on alternate routes,” said SP Traffic
No injuries had been reported due to the incident and Emergency Services and Electricity Department linemen were immediately pressed into service.
