CANACONA: Asking the Booth-leaders/Karyakarta’s to take leads in every booth (there are 59 booths/polling stations in the Canacona constituency segment), BJP’s South-Goa Election Incharge/Social Welfare Minister Subhash Phaldessai informed it will help to determine safe winnability and send its candidate Pallavi Dempo to the Lok Sabha.
BJP’s South Goa election in-charge for the Lok Sabha elections and Social Welfare Minister Subhash Phaldesai, was addressing and guiding the BJP’s booth leaders of 16 booths of Canacona Municipality on how to work successfully in elections.
Phaldessai said, “Every worker should be active in his/her booths and win hands-down in their booths than it will be easy to win each of the assembly constituency segments and get Pallavi Dempo elected from South –Goa,” entrusting the responsibility to the Karyakartas of all the 16 booths of the municipal area.
Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar said, ‘Bharatiya Janata Party activists are successful because they always work precisely in subtle ways. Winning the South Goa seat is the sole responsibility of the Karyakartas who are actively working in the Canacona constituency, and on your strength, I can confidently say, Pallavi Dempo will get a lead of 10,000 votes in Canacona alone.
CMC Chairperson Ramakant Naik Gaonkar said, ‘In every election, the Canacona municipal areas have given a big vote margin to the BJP. In this election, the opposition party campaigning is insignificant so far, as everywhere voters sing only one mantra of ‘Modi’.
Also present were Canacona BJP Mandal president Vishal Dessai, General Secretary Diwakar Pagi, CMC Dy Chairperson Narcisco Fernandes, Councilors – Simon Rebello, Gandesh Madgaonkar, Laxuman Pagi, besides, prime karyakartas including Manuja Naik Gaonkar, Rajnish Komarpant and others were present on the platform.
Siddharth Desai moderated at the meeting. Earlier in the day Social Welfare Minister Phaldesai has also guided the Karyakarta’s workers at Painguinim.
