BASTORA: In a shocking incident, senior citizen couple were robbed of their gold ornaments at Bastora junction in Mapusa Gold worth 8 lakh + including bangles, gold chain with a pendant were stolen.
Couple, in their complaint, said that they were stopped on their scooters by two bike borne people who told them that some robbery is being taking place ahead.
The Two men told the couple to remove their gold ornaments and put it in the bag, after which they convinced them to check their bag to see if the couple was carrying any drugs and managed to remove the gold and flee
