SANGUEM: Sanguem BJP members have demanded ministry for Sanguem MLA Subhash Faldesai in the next Cabinet expansion.
ON TUESDAY, the BJP volunteers gathered outside the MLA Faldessai’s residence in Sanguem, making the demand.
While demanding ministry to Sanguem BJP MLA Subhash Faldesai Suresh Kepekar Zilla Panchayat member of Rivona said that after Fal Desai’s victory they, all senior party leaders and karaykartas and supporters felt that this time Sanguem constituency will surely get minister in the form of Subhash Faldesai, but that is not the case, that’s why we very much disappointed for not considering Faldesai in the first list which is cabinet ministry he said,
Rajesh Gaokar Sanguem, BJP leader, said they went for a swearing-in ceremony, hoping that ministry would be given to Faldesai, but it was not the case, and in the first phase, Faldesai was sidelined.
Bayo Bhandari, the President of Sanguem BJP block, said that if they do not give us ministry in the first round, we expect we will get a second list and meet senior-most party leaders to request them to the ministry for the Sanguem constituency.
Vasu Meg Gaokar said that the Sanguem constituency is the largest constituency by area. In the history of the Sanguem constituency, 5 times BJP MLA has been elected, but till now, no ministry has been given to Sanguem, and that’s why the development work and offering jobs to the youth of Sanguem has taken a backseat.
