For the last three days, there is heavy rainfall in every part of Goa. This continued rainfall has led to flooding in many regions, wherein many villages are flooded landslide.
Dhadem village of Sanvordem constituency is facing the brunt, with nearly 8 houses affected due to flood.
Locals say this is the first flooding in the village after a decade. They said the water level started to increase around 5 am this morning.
Paroda submerged again…
For the second time in the last week, Paroda village is submerged underwater.
On Thursday around 8.30 pm the water level increased in the Paroda area. Around 1 km area of Paroda is underwater, mostly main road of Quepem and Curchorem, have been underwater for 18 hours now and traffic has been diverted from Amona road.
