Panaji: Former Pilgao Sarpanch & Vice President of Youth Congress Mayem Block Mahesh Volvoikar joined Aam Aadmi Party today in the presence of AAP Leader Valmiki Naik at Panaji. Volvoikar’s joining is the latest in leaders and activists from North Goa joining the party strengthening its hold over Constituencies the BJP is usually secure in. Volvoikar a former Sarpanch and Panch is also a leader in many religious and cultural organisations in Pilgao. Volvoikar has joined the party after being impressed by the Kejriwal Model and AAP’s selfless work during the pandemic.
Stating that the BJP Govt doesn’t care about the common man Mahesh Volvoikar pointed out that development works are left unfinished and schemes exist just on paper and youth are still waiting for jobs.
“I’ve joined because the Kejriwal model is the only model in the country that is helping the common man,” said Mahesh Volvoikar. “Today the BJP govt doesn’t care about the poor or common man. Their Har Ghar Jal Yojna has failed as there is no water in peoples houses.
Prices have skyrocketed and made day to day life impossible for Goenkars. In these tough times only AAP has provided ration and helped Goenkars.” Volvoikar said
“Today our youth are unemployed, Mining has been shut for 10 years. All Mining dependents are in a terrible condition. After not being able to start mining for 9 years BJP wants us to believe that they will restart it in 3 months?” added Volvoikar
“People from every village of Goa are joining AAP as they see AAP is the only future for Goa,” said AAP Leader Valmiki Naik. ” AAP is the only party that has an agenda that can help improve the life of the common Goenkar. In Mayem itself the villagers of Maulinguem just last week chased both the MLA and the CM away. Goenkars have realised how useless the BJP is” added Naik
