PARRA: Two persons were injured following a collision between a Toyota Fortuner and an Activa scooter on the Parra–Assagao road.
According to initial information, the accident occurred when the Activa rider allegedly entered from the wrong side of the road and collided with the Fortuner. Sources further stated that the scooter rider was suspected to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.
Both the rider and the pillion rider of the scooter sustained injuries in the collision and were shifted for medical treatment. The extent of their injuries was not immediately known.
Police have taken note of the incident, and further investigation is underway to ascertain the exact cause of the accident.
