PORVORIM: Porvorim Police have stepped up their efforts to target cars with loud, customized silencers and those with incorrect license plates.
Four motorcycles were taken from the Reis Magos and Nerul panchayat regions during the operation.
According to Rahul Parab, Police Inspector at Porvorim Police Station, the campaign will go on, and violators will face harsh consequences.
Before appearing in court, where fines would be assessed and the motorcycles released, he noted, owners must take the modified silencers off.
According to Parab, 15 motorcycles with modified silencers that make an unbearable noise have been seized by Porvorim Police since January 2025.
