PANAJI: In view of the Board exams for the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) scheduled in April-May, the Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) 2021 for admissions to professional degree courses has been postponed to mid-June.
As per present schedule, the GCET were to be held on May 4-5. The new dates of examination would be announced by June 1.
As per the schedule announced by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE), the Board exams for HSSC will be held from April 26 to May 15.
GCET is conducted for screening of aspirants to Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) and Bachelor of Pharmacy (B Pharm) courses. All the students seeking admissions to MBBS, BDS, BHMS (Homeopathy), BAMS (Ayurveda), Allied Health Sciences (Paramedical), B Sc in Nursing and B V Sc and A H courses are required to appear and qualify at NEET UG-2021(National Entrance Cum Eligibility Test)
