BAMBOLIM: Goa Medical College and Hospital has announced the expansion of its online OPD appointment booking system to seven additional departments from May 11, 2026.
The new departments covered under the online booking facility include Endocrinology Paediatric, Plastic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery, Geriatric Medicine, Paediatric Surgery and Nephrology.
According to the hospital administration, 50 online OPD slots per day will be made available to the general public for each of these departments.
Patients can avail the online OPD booking service through the official website of Goa Medical College and Hospital.
Officials stated that booking an online slot will ensure OPD services on the selected date, subject to the availability of doctors. However, doctor-specific appointments are not yet available through the online system.
The existing offline appointment and queue system for remaining slots will continue simultaneously at GMC.
The online slots will be available for booking up to seven days in advance, while booking for the next day will close at 5 pm on the previous day.
