PORVORIM: Leader of Opposition (LoP) Yuri Alemao reacting to the budget 2023-24 today, termed it as a carry-forward budget.
“There is nothing Manohar in this budget. This will just be a carry-forward budget,” said Alemao.
He further said that the budget is like a smart city mission that will lend the state into potholes.
“Same schemes with fancy names. The threat of Governance and public service getting stuck and caving. The budget does not address unemployment,’ he added.
LoP also said that the budget does not speak and has no mention for employment for youth.
“I hope whatever CM has said in the budget will be implemented,” he added.
Alemao also said that ATR states that only 34% of Total Announcements are Completed & 62% are likely to be completed in 2023-24. 4%
