SANKHALI: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant chaired a review meeting on Solid Waste Management for the “Swachh Goem, Sundar Goem” initiative with Sarpanchas, Panchayat members of Village Panchayats in Bicholim Taluka at Ravindra Bhavan, Sankhali.
HCM stated that during the meeting, ZP CEOs, Panchayat Secretaries, and representatives of successful solid waste management projects shared presentations to accelerate efforts at the village level through active engagement of staff and local communities.
He also informed that similar review meetings will be organized across all 12 talukas to strengthen this movement.
CM mentioned that achieving “Swachh Goem, Sundar Goem” starts with achieving “Swachh Village” and expressed confidence that these collaborative efforts will bring the desired transformation across the state.
