DABOLIM: Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, along with Governor P.S. Sreedharan Pillai, MLAs, and Ministers, departed from Goa International Airport, Dabolim, on Saturday morning to attend the historic Porrna Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj.
Speaking to the media before departure, CM Dr. Pramod Sawant expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the Maha Kumbh Mela. “We are fortunate to witness and be part of this grand event. Understanding the enthusiasm of Goans, we have arranged special trains to Prayagraj, and efforts are underway to introduce an additional train to accommodate the increasing demand,” he said.
Minister Mauvin Godinho highlighted the significance of the Kumbh Mela, calling it the largest spiritual gathering that attracts both Indian and foreign participants. “The energy and power of this sacred place are unparalleled.
