PATRADEVI/ MARGAO: “Time has come to teach Dictatorial, Anti-Democratic and Anti-Constitution BJP a permanent lesson. Congress-nominated INDIA Candidates will do their duty with responsibility. Voice of Goa will become Voice of India,” stated Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao.
INDIA candidates Adv. Ramakant Khalap and Capt. Viriato Fernandes launched the Loksabha Election Campaign at the Hutatma Memorial at Patradevi today on the auspicious day of Gudi Padva.
Congress President Amit Patkar, Aldona MLA Carlos Ferreira, Qupem MLA Altone D’Costa, Aam Aadmi Party President Amit Palekar, Velim MLA Cruz Silva, Goa Forward General Secretary Durgadas Kamat, Jayesh Shetgaonkar of TMC, Jitesh Kamat of Shiv Sena(UBT) and Office Bearers and Members of Opposition Parties were present for the Launching Event.
“Goa was liberated with the sacrifice and efforts of Freedom Fighters. It is our duty to ensure that this holy land is protected. The time has come to protect Goa from divisive forces. I appeal to all to support both INDIA Candidates,” said North Goa Candidate Adv. Ramakant Khalap.
“I will work honestly and sincerely and will ensure that I fight for Goa’s Rights. I will not spare anyone when it comes to protecting Goa and Goans,” stated Adv. Ramakant Khalap.
Today marks the beginning of the defeat of the Dictatorial BJP Government headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. BJP has compromised on Mhadei. They have destroyed the Environment of Goa. Goans will surely ensure the victory of INDIA Candidates, said Congress President Amit Patkar.
AAP President Amit Patkar, Shiv Sena’s Jitesh Kamat, Goa Forward’s Deepak Kalangutkar, TMC’s Jayesh Shetgaonkar and others also spoke and extended their support to both Candidates nominated by Congress.
Earlier, in a show of Unity, all the Leaders of INDIA travelled to Patradevi on a Bus.
