Panaji: Goa Police DGP Alok Kumar says the three initiatives are based on modern technology and have been introduced to improve public service delivery and to address issues of cyberspace.
Kumar says, “Goa police has launched three initiatives based on modern technology. They have been introduced to improve public service delivery and to address issues of cyberspace,” he added.
The first initiative is the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Lab, which will cater to all aspects of policing, he said.
“The second initiative is the ‘Quick Pass System’… The third and major initiative is ‘Cyber Yoddha’, keeping in mind the increasing cases of cyber crimes in society,” he added.
Meanwhile, Goa Police, in collaboration with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), participated in a specialized training session to enhance the detection of counterfeit currency. Police personnel from the Economic Offences Cell, Crime Branch, and District Police were trained to identify fake notes by analyzing key security features.
With continuous learning and vigilance, Goa Police says it remains committed in safeguarding the financial security of the State and protecting citizens from financial fraud.
