PORVORIM: With the aim of utilizing APAAR ID as the primary identifier of the student, the Goa government has made it mandatory to quote APAAR ID in inter-school transfers and migration from here onwards.
Further, APAAR ID is also mandatory to obtain the benefits of free textbooks, mid-day meals and other Govt. benefit schemes.
Therefore, the Heads of all institutions are enjoined to expedite the process of APAAR ID generation of its students.
A copy of this circular should be prominently displayed on the School’s notice board, ensuring that all stakeholders including teachers, students and parents are informed and are aware of the same.
This Circular is issued with the approval of the Competent Authority.
The APAAR ID card is a digital identification system designed for students enrolled in private and government institutions nationwide. It provides a unique 12-digit APAAR number to each student, digitally storing and managing their academic credentials such as degrees, scholarships, awards, and other achievements.
APAAR ensures accountability and transparency in education by tracking student progress and streamlining academic records. It enhances efficiency, removes duplicity, minimizes fraud, and includes co-curricular achievements for holistic student development.
