PANAJI: Secretary Education Prasad Lolayekar today said that there would be no changes in Chaturthi, Diwali and Christmas vacation and will be held as per schedule.

He further said that during Diwali vacation attempt is to get students involved in non curricular activities; meeting of Headmasters called on Friday.
“The summer vacation will be from May 1 to June. This is a balanced move. The regular school timings will commence from June 4, after the summer break,” said Lolyekar
He further said that for students upto Class 5, the academic term will commence from June 4 onwards.
“To ensure smooth implementation of the new schedule, the Education Department has directed schools to take appropriate action to ensure classes commence in April,” he added
