PANAJI: The Goa Muslim Forum strongly condemned the recent attack on civilians in Pahalgam, urging authorities to take swift action against those responsible and ensure the safety of all citizens.
Led by convenor Shaikh Iftikar, a delegation from the Forum submitted a memorandum to South Goa District Collector Egna Cleetus following a peaceful protest held outside the Collectorate. The memorandum called for justice for the victims and firm action to prevent such incidents in the future.
“This inhuman and cowardly act is an assault on the principles of humanity, peace, and justice,” Iftikar stated. “We express our solidarity with the families of the victims and pray for the speedy recovery of the injured. Such violence must be condemned universally, beyond all lines of religion, region, or ideology.”
The Forum emphasized the need for unity and collective responsibility in countering acts of terror and maintaining communal harmony.
