MARGAO: Goa Police narrowly defeated Cortalim Villagers SWSC 2-1 in the 2nd edition Bhausaheb Bandodkar Memorial Trophy at Chowgule Ground, Margao.
Saeesh Halarnkar scored from the penalty spot for Goa Police in the 30th minute of play and were leading 1-0 at half-time
Ronaldo Oliveira of Goa Police netted the decisive goal in the 90th minute. Cortalim managed to pull one back through Sidney Lucas, who also converted a penalty in the 71st minute of play.
