PANAJI: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane today said that Goa proudly secured the top rank on the NACO Scorecard for April–June 2024
“Through consistent efforts, Goa proudly secured the top rank on the NACO Scorecard for April–June 2024. DHS’s focused efforts have led to excellence in HIV testing, maternal screening, STI/RTI reporting, HRG coverage, and EID testing,” said Rane
He further said that the improvements in viral load monitoring, antenatal care, and timely linkages have strengthened key healthcare facilities like ICTCs, ART Centres, and STI/RTI Clinics.
“We will continue to build on this success, with our commitment to making Goa’s healthcare system top-notch,” he added
he state excelled in critical health indicators, including HIV testing, treatment linkages, STI/RTI reporting, and screening of pregnant women for HIV and syphilis.
This milestone reflects the combined efforts of Integrated Counselling and Testing Centres (ICTCs), Antiretroviral Therapy (ART) Centres, STI/RTI Clinics, NGOs, and the Directorate of Health Services (DHS).
Health Minister Vishwajit Rane congratulated the DHS team, stating, “This national recognition underscores Goa’s exceptional healthcare performance and makes us proud.”
