TALEIGAO: Four MOUs were signed by Goa University with Caritas Goa, Bookworm, VIHAG and Life Line Foundation on 6 th May 2024 to streamline field-based training of students of the Masters in Social Work programme of Manohar Parrikar School of Law, Governance and Public Policy.
The NGOs work in diverse fields such as education, health, HIV prevention, rural development, children, disability and migrants. Social work students will be placed for fieldwork and block placements within these NGOs, enriching their academic journey while aiding the NGOs' operations, and fostering a symbiotic relationship for holistic social development.
These partnerships underscore Goa University’s commitment to community engagement and tackling societal challenges. By collaborating with NGOs, Goa University aims to drive positive change and promote sustainability.
