Goa Number One rank Badminton Player Anjana Kumari has reached in quarter final when last report came in from ongoing Uganda International Badminton Tournament 2021, which has started on 25th February.
She has been given direct entry in main draw and has been given number 3 seed in this Tournament.
In the first round, National Games 2015 Bronze medalist Anjana defeated Meble Namakoye of Uganda by score of 21-12 & 21-16.
And in Pre quarter final match she defeated Betty APIO of Uganda very comfortablely by score of 21-7 & 21-8.
Today she will play the quarter final match with the winner of Tanya Hemant and S. S. Lakshmi Priyanka Subramanian both Indian players.
This is her first tournament post Covid 19 and her back to back quarter final appearance. She also had reached in quarter final in 29th Fajr Iran International Challenge Badminton Tournament, 2020 held in February, 2020, in which she had participated before closure of all the sporting activities due to Pandemic Covid19.
