DIVAR: The Department of Archaeology, Government of Goa, along with the Shri Saptakoteshwar Kotitirth Restoration Committee under the Kotitirth Corridor Development Project, will organise Udakshanti and Ganga Puja at Shri Saptakoteshwar and Shri Kotitirtha, Porne Tirtha, Divar, on the occasion of Gokulashtami.
The programme will be held on September 4, 2026, with religious rituals scheduled at 9 am, followed by a public meeting at 11 am. The programme will conclude at 1 pm, after which Prasad will be distributed.
Special arrangements have been made to facilitate the movement of devotees attending the programme.
Special ferry services will operate from Old Goa and Ribandar to Divar, while shuttle bus services will be available from the Divar Ferry Jetty to Porne Tirtha.
Devotees travelling in private vehicles can park at the designated grounds at Malar, Divar. Shuttle buses will also operate between the parking area and Porne Tirtha.
The organisers have urged devotees to make use of the special transport arrangements to ensure smooth and convenient travel to the venue.
