The Governor, Shri P.S. Sreedharan Pillai, today interacting with the children from six shelter home’s Aasra(Mufeedul Mjslameen Youth) organization of Goa Salcete, Lokvishwas Pratishthan, Ponda, El Shaddai Charitable trust, Matyuchaya, Balkalyan Ashram ponda , Balika Kalyan Ashram and children from Gurudwara announced that Raj Bhavan will provide Rs. 1 lakh assistance each to all the six organisations.
Speaking further Governor assured to extend full support to Sheltery homes.
The Governor was speaking at the interactive meet which is part of the three days Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations being held at Raj Bhavan, Dona Paula.
The Governor was accompanied by his wife Adv Reetha Sreedharan Pillai. Secretary to Governor, Shri Mihir Vardhan, IAS(Retd) was also present.
The children from all the organisations sang patriotic songs on the occasion.
