The Governor of Goa Satya Pal Malik has summoned the Goa Legislative Assembly on July 27, 11.30 am.
The notification issued by Satya Pal Malik says “In exercise of the powers of Article 174 of the Constitution of India. I, Satya Pal Malik, Governor of Goa, hereby summon the Legislative Assembly of the State of Goa to meet at Assembly hall on Monday, 27th July 2020, at 11.30 am.”
The monsoon session would most likely be for three weeks though the exact duration is yet to be decided, Speaker Rajesh Patnekar told reporters on Monday.
The last session of the House was in February in which Chief Minister Pramod Sawant had announced the budget.
