PANAJI: Minister for Industries Mauvin Godinho informed that Government of Goa has not yet approved scheme named “Goa Udyamita Yojana”.
“Government of Goa has not yet approved scheme named “Goa Udyamita Yojana”Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India vide Notification No. S.O.2119 (E) dated 26th June 2020 reclassified the criteria of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and launched the Udyam Registration Portal” said Godinho
He further said that Ease of registration through Udyam Portal has encouraged the MSMEs in the State to register their units, which resulted in 54601 Udyam Registrations.
In order to raise and accelerate the MSME performance the Government of Goa is implementing the Central Sector Scheme namely “Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance” (RAMP).
Individual micro food processing units desirous of up gradation of their unit can avail credit-linked capital subsidy @35% of the eligible project cost with a maximum ceiling of Rs.10 lakh per unit.
“The beneficiary contribution should be a minimum of 10% and the balance should be a loan from a bank. Food Processing Units of Individuals Micro Enterprises (New Enterprises and Existing Micro Food Processing Enterprises)” he added
