Goa: In a stellar recognition of its contributions to Goa’s tourism landscape, the Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) has been honoured with the esteemed Chanakya Award 2024 in the category of Most Impactful Tourism Corporation by the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI).
Shri Shripad Yesso Naik, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Power and Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, presented the award to GTDC, accepted by Shri Deepak Narvekar, Deputy General Manager, Marketing, GTDC, on behalf of GTDC at the PRCI’s 18th Global Communication Conclave held at Moti Mahal in Mangalore.
The ceremony graced by celebrity Ms. Sweezel Maria Furtado, Miss Global India 2024 along with other esteemed dignitaries including Shri M.B. Jayaram, Founder Chairman Emeritus of PRCI; and Mrs. Geetha Shakar, National President of PRCI, adding to the grandeur of the occasion.
Dr. Ganesh Gaonkar, MLA of Sanvordem and Chairman, GTDC, Government of Goa, expressed his pride and gratitude. He said, “We are incredibly proud to receive the prestigious Chanakya Award 2024.
