PANAJI: The High Court of Bombay at Goa today observes that it will not stay Sunburn EDM while clarifying that Sunburn EDM will be allowed to be organised with stringent conditions.
The High Court will pass interim orders by Saturday.
A petition had been filed before the High Court of Bombay at Goa pleading to quash and set aside the provisional no-objection certificate (NOC) issued by the village panchayat of Dhargal to the organisers of the electronic dance music (EDM) event Sunburn.
The petition had pleaded to the court to direct Enforcement Directorate to investigate corruption in the process of granting permission to organise the EDM.
It may be noted that the village panchayat, during its special body meeting decided to issue a provisional NOC to the organiser of the EDM to hold the event in the jurisdiction of the village panchayat.
