PONDA: Bandora Panchayat has issued a show cause notice against factory operating at Mahalaxmi-Bandora without permission.
According to Complainant this illegal factory at Mahalaxmi Bandora is involved in production of soda and mineral water without permissions.
The said factory is conducting business despite Panchayat order to stop it for not obtaining essential permissions from concerned government authorities.
According to complaint filed to Village Panchayat Bandora the Factory Owner had not obtained all the essential permissions from various department of Government.
The owner is involved in extraction of water by digging borewell for production of mineral water and soda business however all the essential certificates for conducting business are not taken.
“There is no valid trade licence. There is no certificate from Health department , WRD, labour Inspector is also unavailable besides many people ther certificates and permissions of government for starting business,” they said
Due to illegal operations of business the locals are facing sound pollution. There is also question mark over quality of mineral water and soda as there are no permissions from respective departments and there fore from safety point of health this illegal business should be stopped by Panchayat.
Bandora Sarpanch Rajesh Naik when asked about complaint agaisnt said factory he said Panchayat had given provisional NOC to start business on condition that the owner should obtain all permission from concern department and submit them to Panchayat however as he failed to produce them Panchayat had issued stop work order notice to owner to stop his business.
Meanwhile the villager complained that despite order to stop business by Panchayat the owner is conducting business from backdoor and there fore demanded government inspect it and take legal action.
