PANAJI: Goa is set to host the Indian Racing Festival 2026 at the Goa Street Circuit near Manohar International Airport on February 14 and 15, marking a major step towards positioning the State as a global destination for international sporting events. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant announced the event, highlighting its significance for sports tourism and economic growth in Goa.
“We are proud to bring the Indian Racing Festival 2026 to Goa at the Goa Street Circuit, Manohar International Airport. This world-class event will boost sports tourism, create economic opportunities, inspire our youth, and serve as a stepping stone for Goa to emerge as a global sporting event destination,” the Chief Minister said.
The event is being organised in collaboration with Racing Promotions Pvt Ltd (RPPL) and the Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG). It is expected to attract motorsport enthusiasts, athletes and visitors from across the country, adding momentum to Goa’s efforts to diversify its tourism offerings beyond conventional leisure travel.
Inviting visitors to be part of the high-octane spectacle, CM Sawant said, “I invite motorsport enthusiasts and visitors from across the country to experience this exciting celebration of speed and sport in Goa.”
The Indian Racing Festival 2026 at the Goa Street Circuit (MOPA) is expected to not only showcase competitive motorsport action but also generate employment, promote allied industries and strengthen Goa’s image as a preferred venue for large-scale international sporting events.
