PANAJI: Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte today has demanded that inquiry report on Goa Medical College (GMC) dark hour deaths should be made public at the earliest.
“The Inquiry Report on GMC dark hour deaths should be made public at the earliest. Those responsible should be meted out with exemplary punishment as warning against such criminal negligence in future.,” said Khaunte
He further said that justice for Goan lives is a must.
Khaunte further said that it was sensible of Goa CM to extend the curfew for another week.
“If CM Sawant had shown this sensibility in the beginning, many Goan lives could have been saved. Now the onus on Goa Govt is to maximize vaccination coverage,” he added
Meanwhile, Khaunte said that the state government is back to carelessness again stating that there were ewspaper reports of domestic tourists entering without Covid Negative Certification is alarming and will setback the hard won relief in Covid deaths and infections.
