SIOLIM: In a major breakthrough, the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of Goa Police has arrested a man from Kerala with LSD worth ₹11.07 crore in Siolim. The accused, identified as Mohammad, was apprehended following a targeted operation by the ANC.
According to sources, Mohammad had been residing in Goa for the past five years and was allegedly involved in drug trafficking while also running a rental business, including apartments and taxi services.
The seizure is being hailed as one of the largest LSD busts in recent times in the state. Officials are now probing deeper into the network, suspecting the involvement of other individuals possibly linked to the interstate drug trade.
The ANC has confirmed that further investigation is underway to determine the source of the narcotics and the extent of Mohammad’s operations in Goa.
