CANACOA :Two elderly women were felicitated for their unique feat of Oil massage/Bathing services of over 2000 Babies
On the occasion of Kshatriya Komarpant Brothers Cricket Premier League final prize distribution, Smt. Draupadi Devidas Dhuri from Colomb and Smt. Pratibha Prakash Komarpant from Kepewada-Patnem, the two village mothers from different areas, were felicitated at the ground by Canacona Municipal Council Councillor Shubham Komarpant in recognition for their unique but traditional services of giving Oil Massages and Baths to the babies and the Babies Mothers.
It is said that till date, these two have gave their services to more than 2,000 children and mothers helping them to have their growth and maintain health, respectively.
Smt. Draupadi has been doing this work for the last 50 years and the services given by smt Komarpant for over 3 decades are recognised by Cricket Premier organisers. The senior artists and social workers from the Komarpant community were also present.
