PANAJI: The entrance premises of the office of Ponda Assistant Director of Transport had become slippery on account of the spread of cow dung by castles and caused hardship to vehicle owners visiting this office for their various official work.
Viraj Sapre, a social worker, expressed strong resentment over the situation. He said stray cattle take rest and drop cow dung at the entrance of this office, where hundreds of people visit for various officials’ works related to their vehicles.
He said visitors complained of falling after slipping on cow dung. He questioned who was responsible if anybody gets in serious injuries. He urged the authorities for clean and proper maintenance of premises and also to prevent the entry of cattle inside the premises of the building.
