SALIGAO: Saligao Police have registered a case following a complaint by Mrs. Dipa K. Lingudkar, a resident of Pilerne, Porvorim, Bardez-Goa, regarding an alleged theft from her residence.
According to the complaint, between June 9, 2026, at around 6.30 am and June 14, 2026, at around 7.30 pm, at LN Home, Flat No. UGF-1, Bhavan Road, Pilerne, the accused, identified as Bimla Pun (23), a maid working at the complainant’s house, allegedly stole a pouch containing gold ornaments and cash amounting to approximately Rs. 25,000 from the complainant’s cupboard.
The accused is a native of Nepal and was residing at Savle Bhat, Pilerne, Bardez, Goa.
Further investigation is being carried out by PSI Dishan Naik of Saligao Police Station.
